3 Valentine’s Day Client Appreciation Gifts

Love it or hate it, Valentine's Day is on its way. For those who love an excuse to give gifts, consider sending your real estate clients Valentine's treats or cards.

  • Cards or postcards
  • Red fruits & veggies
  • Local bakery cookies

When preparing to send Valentine's Day gifts to your clients, consider whether a sweet or not-so-sweet treat is the way to go. If you have real estate clients who love a traditional sweet treat, go with Valentine's cookies from a local bakery or chocolates from a local candy store.

For those clients who are anti-sweet and lean more toward the healthy side of gifting, focus on red fruits and vegetables for Valentine's Day.  Red apples, beets, bell peppers, onions, cherries, tomatoes, radishes, potatoes, strawberries, and grapes make for healthy Valentine's Day gifts.  Find a pretty red, pink, or clear bowl at a discount store, pack it with various red produce, and then hand deliver it to your clients with a gift tag.  Imagine the smiles you'll receive in return!

Finally, consider sending Valentine's greeting cards or postcards to older clients who will appreciate them.  Share digital cards with younger clientele.  Check out Canva, VistaCreate, or eCards, where you can quickly create your Valentine's Day cards, and some will mail them for you.

TIP: don't be the one who sends out blank cards.  Remember, as you work to stay in touch with your leads and clients, you're helping them get to know, like, and trust you, so make sure you add a personal greeting to your cards.

"Hi, Ben!  I wanted to wish you and your family a Happy Valentine's Day!  I know the kids love red apples, and I hope they'll enjoy the rest of the fruit too!  Great seeing you guys at the ice skating rink the other day!  ~ Name, Agency"

As you can see from the greeting above, there is no self-promotion in the Valentine's message.  Sometimes all you need to do is send a quick note that lets your real estate clients know you're thinking of them, and Valentine's Day is a good excuse for that.  Get after it!  Valentine's Day is quickly approaching!
