Would you like to feel more focused and positive today? Recently, I watched a video which discussed how to create a positive mindset. It inspired me so much that I thought I would share some highlights with you to help you stay positive and motivated.
Bernice Ross, one of the video hosts, attended a WomanUP! conference where she learned about creating positivity during this crazy time. We will explore a few of the highlights to help inspire you to have a focused and positive day and achieve your goals.
Let's start by looking at 3 ways to create a positive mindset:
What is your intent? Your goals, personal and business, may have drastically changed during the pandemic. Maybe you aren't thinking about goals for next year but are focused on short-term goals instead. Think about what you want to accomplish this week, this month, and in the months before the year ends. By creating these goals, you are creating intent which will help you stay positive, focused and ultimately more goal oriented.
What is your focus? Take a moment to focus on where you want to go in your personal life and in business. Do you want to raise the most confident kids and ensure that they are set up for a college education? In business, do you want to focus on working with low-income families who are striving to improve their lives? Find something to focus on that's important to you and put your heart and soul into it.
What is your purpose? Why do you do what you do? Maybe you own a childcare center so that you can offer low income parents a place to bring their children. Maybe you sell handmade furniture, in addition to your full-time job, to help save for a down payment on a home. Creating purpose in your life creates happiness and drives you toward something bigger and better. Whatever your goals are, consider adding them to a vision board to help manifest your vision and create more purpose in your life.
If you want to attract something into your life, you have to believe in it and visualize it happening. Are you looking for a home? Visualize your new home, how you will feel in each room, how you will decorate it, etc. By doing this you're manifesting your future. Whatever energy you put out into the world, you get back. Stay positive about what you want to attract in your life and ignore naysayers.
5 Things That Make You Happy
Finally, think of 5 things that make you happy. When you are filled with happiness, unhappiness cannot exist (read that again).
So, today I want you to come up with 5 things that make you happy. It could be the smallest thing, like a good cup of tea, all the way up to having purchased your first home. I've got a lot of things that make me happy including good health, a wonderful husband and family, my love of nature, my adopted dog, and finally learning how to fly a large drone. It's as simple as that. I wish you a positive and happy day!
